Chelsie joined the Ottawa Climate Action Fund in July 2026. A life-long Ottawa resident, they hold a BSc and MA in Psychology and a PhD in Management from Carleton University. This academic background provides the foundation for their work applying research and science communication to the human and organizational behaviours necessary to support a successful energy transition. Chelsie believes that climate resilience is inseparable from knowledge sharing, empathy, and community building, and is dedicated to accelerating low-carbon solutions that are accessible and equitable for all. Outside of work, they enjoy running, cycling, reading, and spending time with their spouse and daughter.
