Lauren est n\u00e9e et a grandi sur les terres des peuples Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron et Wendat, dans ce qui est commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9 London, en Ontario. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e en \u00e9tudes environnementales et en sciences politiques de l’Universit\u00e9 Mount Allison \u00e0 Mi’kma’ki (Nouveau-Brunswick), Lauren s’est impliqu\u00e9e en premier dans l’organisation de la justice climatique par le biais de la campagne de d\u00e9sinvestissement des combustibles fossiles sur les campus, de l’organisation de convergences de jeunes Powershift, et en tant que d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e aux COP 21 et 22 avec la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de la jeunesse canadienne. Lauren travaille avec CAN-Rac depuis 2019 afin de mettre en place un pacte vert au Canada.
