Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de cette conversation est la fa\u00e7on dont nous obtenons les services \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques dont nous avons besoin \u00e0 un prix abordable pour tous\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Steve Winkelman, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de FACO.<\/p>\n<p>FACO exhorte Hydro Ottawa, la Ville d&rsquo;Ottawa et les autres d\u00e9cideurs locaux \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 la mise en place d&rsquo;un nouveau syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique qui\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximisera l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique dans la fa\u00e7on dont nous chauffons, refroidissons et op\u00e9rons nos maisons et nos constructions commerciales et permet \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ontario d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieso.ca\/-\/media\/Files\/IESO\/Document-Library\/engage\/derps\/derps-20220930-final-report-volume-1.ashx\">9,5 milliards de dollars ;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Remplacera le chauffage et la climatisation au gaz inefficaces par des <a href=\"https:\/\/natural-resources.canada.ca\/energy-efficiency\/heat-pumps\/heat-pump-basics\/25589#a2\">pompes \u00e0 chaleur \u00e9lectriques<\/a> qui r\u00e9duisent la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 65 % (vous trouverez ici un d\u00e9mystificateur pratique sur les pompes \u00e0 chaleur) ;<\/li>\n<li>S&rsquo;appuiera sur des techniques reconnues, comme la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande et le stockage en batterie, pour assurer la ma\u00eetrise des pics de demande d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 ;<\/li>\n<li>Utilisera l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire sur les toits, l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne, les micro-r\u00e9seaux de quartier et d&rsquo;autres options locales en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie renouvelable pour r\u00e9duire le besoin de nouvelles lignes \u00e9lectriques, co\u00fbteuses \u00e0 cr\u00e9er et vuln\u00e9rables en cas d&rsquo;urgence m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique, tout en \u00e9liminant le besoin de nouvelles centrales \u00e0 gaz au cours de la prochaine d\u00e9cennie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Lorsque l&rsquo;on cherche \u00e0 faire un gros investissement, il est d&rsquo;autant plus important de tirer le maximum de chaque dollar. Nous savons qu&rsquo;Hydro Ottawa travaille d&rsquo;arrache-pied pour mener \u00e0 bien ce projet, et nous sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 l&rsquo;aider\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Winkelman.<\/p>\n<p>La strat\u00e9gie \u00c9volution \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique 2020 d&rsquo;Ottawa pr\u00e9voit de nouveaux investissements importants pour maximiser l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et \u00e9lectrifier le syst\u00e8me.
